Pokemon Unite – How To Sync Your Progress From Switch On Mobile

Pokemon Unite is quite a unique game, as it allows players to play it on both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Cross-progression is always a welcome addition, which is specific to the game. Players can sync their in-game progress between platforms, allowing them to continue playing where they left off.

The process of syncing the progress between the devices is fairly simple.

Players’ information and progress get saved on their Pokemon Trainer Account that is associated with their Nintendo account, which depends on whether they played the game first on smartphones or on their Nintendo Switch console.

After an account gets linked to the game, it can’t be unlinked anymore from that point.

To begin, players must check that their game is linked with the same account on both devices.

Just check that your smartphone and Nintendo Switch have the same account connected to them. This is a very important step to sync saved data.

Switch To Mobile

First of all, you must download and launch the game on both devices. On the main screen, go to “Transfer Access to Data.”

If one game is started without picking that option initially, players won’t be able to sync the existing data. If that is the case, you have to uninstall the app and re-install it again.

As soon as the first step is completed, you must pick the option of Pokemon Trainer Account or Nintendo Account from the log-in screen of the game. Make sure that you use the same account on both devices.

After doing that, the same data should be synced on both devices.

If you’re looking to set up the game on a Nintendo Switch and then link it up to an existing mobile Pokemon Unite account, you can follow these steps:

  • Open the settings tab of the mobile version. Pick the option to link a Nintendo Account or Pokemon Trainer Club Account. This must be done before opening the game on the Switch platform.
  • After you link a Nintendo Account to the mobile version, the saved data will get automatically synced. If a Pokemon Trainer account is linked, data can be synced by simply linking the same account. Pay close attention when selecting the account to log in to at first.

If you want to transfer data between two mobile devices, you have to follow these steps:

Make sure that the app is linked to any of the following on the old device:

  • Nintendo Account
  • Pokemon Trainer Club account
  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Apple

If your saved data is linked to either of these accounts, you can download the game on the new mobile device and pick the Transfer Access to Data option from the start menu. You will then be prompted to pick the same log-in platform that was previously used to sync.
