Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Remaster, Possible Partnership With Digital Eclipse?

Digital Eclipse recently made public that a remaster of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is in the works, in collab with Capcom and Disney.

Mike Mika, the head of Digital Eclipse studio, assured the fans on various platforms that a remastered version of the game would be launched soon.

The initial game was launched on 24 February 2000. Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is a crossover fighting game.

It’s the fourth game in the series of Marvel vs. Capcom series, featuring characters from both worlds. It was launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009.

The remastered edition of the game is backed up by the loyal fan base of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), which seems to support Digital Eclipse’s work.

The downside is that if you are a PC gamer, the game isn’t officially available. There are ways around this, as you can still purchase the game and run it within an emulator.

Emulators are completely legal, while piracy isn’t, which is why we strongly suggest that you buy the game even if it isn’t supported on your system natively.

One of the most popular emulators is MAME, which is made to preserve old arcade video games. It’s a multi-system emulator, making it simple for players to run various games.

There is also Dreamcast’s Flycast, which features the best emulatable version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, very comparable to the original arcade title.

Retro games are slowly but steadily increasing in price due to increased demand and short supply.

We are looking forward to the re-release of the game with enthusiasm, as it brings us back nostalgia from times when things were simpler. Many of us fondly remember the 00s, when we used to come home from school and enjoy a game of Marvel vs. Capcom.
