Pokémon Legends Arceus: Here’s How to Capture Turtwig

Source: AOTF

Pokémon Legends Arceus is not even a year old, and the players are eager to get the most out of it when it comes to the game’s exciting benefits. Turtwig has proven to be pretty difficult to find in the game. That’s a bit odd, considering that he’s one of the three starter Pokemon of Sinnoh, along with Piplup and Chimchar. Turtwig was introduced in Generation IV.

Finding Turtwig is nothing too difficult, as he wanders around a single location in Pokemon Legends Arceus: the southeast part of the Crimson Mirelands. But it’s the capturing process that gives players some headaches.

You first need to fight other Pokemon

There is a way to capture Turtwig in the completely unusual way of catching Pokemon, meaning that battling it is not mandatory. Therefore, you can grab the grass Pokemon by sneaking upon it, while Heavy Ball and Dazzling Honey can also help you a lot in the process.

But before you ever really get the chance to catch Turtwig, it’s important to prepare for some tough battles with other Pokemon that you must confront as you approach the starter grass-type Pokemon. You can consider that Turtwig has its guards, and only after and if you defeat them you get the chance to capture the famous grass-type Pokemon.
