A new “Season of GO” event, set to begin on June 1st, has been teased by the Pokémon GO team. There will be numerous new features and possibilities for users to capture uncommon new Pokémon as part of the forthcoming Pokémon GO Fest 2022, which will coincide with the start of a new season. Fans have been anticipating this event since it was first announced in March, and it will include a previously unobtainable legendary Pokémon that is a fan favorite.

In-game seasons have been three months long since the Go Beyond upgrade in December 2020, which corresponds to the four real-life seasons. “Season of Alola,” which contains Pokémon from the Sun and Moon games, is now taking place in the games. The “Alola to Alola” event, which will continue until the conclusion of the season and provide trainers fresh challenges as well as Alolan Pokémon to capture, is currently wrapping up the season.

The Season of GO officially kicks off on June 1 and runs through August, according to Pokémon GO’s June content release. The forthcoming Pokémon GO fest 2022 will be one of several community days and activities that players may take part in during the season. This year’s Pokémon GO festival will take place on June 4 and 5, and it will include the legendary grass-type Pokémon Shaymin, which was first shown in March. In light of the fact that Shaymin has never been a catchable Pokémon in the game, this is an important development. Only those who acquire event tickets will be able to access the legendary gratitude Pokémon in its Land Forme via special research activities.

Bonus features include an enhanced chance to meet shiny Pokémon and new collecting challenges centered around four distinct habitats: city, grasslands, rainforests, or tundra. Ticket buyers will also have access to these additional activities. Tickets are not required to participate in the other parts of the event, such as encountering shiny Axews, Shroomishes, Numels, and Karrablasts for the very first time. Legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre, as well as a Pikachu decked up in floral garb, will be on hand for raids as well.
