Who would have ever imagined five or ten years ago that smartphones would feature RAM memories such as 6GB, 8GB, or even 4GB? Our little computers become more and more powerful year by year, which is why the manufacturers continue to improve the specs.

How about 24GB of RAM for a smartphone? Well, you know what they say: you can live 100 years and not see them all in life. However, we live in one of the best periods of humanity ever, as technology is better than ever before. Therefore, let’s find out what the upcoming OnePlus 12 has in store for the world!

OnePlus 12 will likely feature 24GB of RAM

OnePlus is known for offering high memory configurations in its devices. The company is now rumored to be planning to include 24 GB of RAM in its upcoming phones, as NextPit has discovered. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 12, which is expected to launch later this year, may come with this impressive RAM capacity.

The speculation stems from the parent company of OnePlus, BBK Electronics, which is said to be considering 24 GB of RAM as a standard specification for its brands, such as Oppo, Realme, iQOO, and Vivo. If the information is true, OnePlus and other BBK companies will surpass Samsung when it comes to RAM capacity.

Except for the out-of-this-world RAM memory, the OnePlus 12 is also expected to feature Android 14 out of the box, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a periscope camera, and more. Some sources indicate that the future phone will also feature a triple-camera setup, 150W charging support for those moments when you need a lot of battery power over the course of more than a day, a circular rear camera layout, and more.

OnePlus has released plenty of interesting phones in recent years. We can mention, for instance, devices such as the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and a lot more.
