Sega released the Sega Genesis console in 1988 in Japan, and the gaming machine was the successor of the Master System. In 1988, the console was known by the name of the Mega Drive. When it arrived in 1989 in North America, it was called Genesis.
It’s great to see that the old console is still somehow alive among gamers, and we can bet that Nintendo Switch will revive even more retro games in the near future.
