If you’re a fan of Piccolo, it means you have some awesome taste when it comes to Dragon Ball characters. Piccolo is one of the most important characters in the franchise, as he was the one who created the dragon balls from Earth while he was in the Kami form.

The famous Namekian has mostly been outclassed during both Dragon Ball Super and Z by Goku and the gang, as he became less relevant regarding the battles with the biggest villains. But in the upcoming ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ movie, Piccolo will once again be under the spotlight along with Gohan, as they’ll try to defeat new powerful androids created by the Red Ribbon Army.

Get ready for Piccolo’s “Potential Unleashed” form

The new trailer shows Piccolo’s new “Potential Unleashed” form, and we can’t wait to see the Namekian at work with it:

Although there’s not much to say yet about the new form, we can speculate that the transformation itself is somehow related to Gohan’s “Ultimate” technique. Goku’s son uses it to unleash his full potential, without even having to turn into a Super Saiyan. The possible correlation isn’t surprising at all, considering that Piccolo was Gohan’s very first trainer. Back in the day when the Namekian was evil to the core, he started to train Gohan for the upcoming invasion of the Saiyans. Gohan was just a 5-year old boy at that time, but he has shown tremendous fighting potential. Piccolo thought that he can speculate the potential for getting rid of Nappa and Vegeta. Later on, Piccolo started to develop parental feelings for Goku’s son, shocking everyone. Piccolo even sacrificed himself to save Gohan’s life, as he took one of Nappa’s energy waves head-on only to save the little boy.

Are you also eager to see Gohan teaming up with Piccolo once again?
