Regular map changes have to be the one thing we can dependably count on with a new Fortnite season. There are lots of brand-new features for you to enjoy all throughout the Island with the arrival of Chapter 4 Season 2. A brand-new biome with a futuristic feel has also been added to the game, in addition to new POIs and modifications to those that already present.

What’s new?

The addition of the new biome to the southeast corner of the Island is probably the best thing on the map in Chapter 4 Season 2. It was originally covered in grasslands starting with the Faulty Splits POI, but now the new biome with cherry blossom trees and “teal-tinted grass” has supplanted it.

And that’s not all!

The MEGA City POI is the main attraction, and there’s no wonder why! It has something known as grind rails that you can use to skate around the buildings while simultaneously being able to utilize your weapons on the move (how cool is that?!). With this new mechanism, it’s easy to assume that MEGA City will quickly become a hotbed for conflict and bloody battles.
