Where are all Big Bang Theory fans when you need them?! Great news, nerds, we’ll get another Big Bang Theory spinoff soon! Through his overall agreement with Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre, who co-created the original show and its spinoff Young Sheldon, is in the early stages of producing another comedy series. The new series will air on HBO Max, expanding the Big Bang Theory significantly. Unfortunately, no storyline specifics were disclosed as it is too early for such things. Also, nothing has been actually been confirmed, it is just anticipated to be an hour-long series with a large fresh cast. The chances to see our beloved “Big Bang” original performers as cameos are also pretty big!

The news was announced during Warner Bros. Discovery’s press event, where it introduced its new streaming service. The upcoming “Big Bang” project series would be available to also stream on HBO Max, the company’s renamed platform that combines HBO Max and Discovery+. Quite impressive, isn’t it?!

The new Big Bang series would be Lorre’s second endeavor at Max, and he would executive produce it under the Chuck Lorre Productions label. The Warner Bros.

To recall, from 2007 to 2019, The Big Bang Theory amazed us with an incredible 12-season run on CBS. By the end of its run, it succeeded in earning the most rating achievements, averaging just under 18 million viewers for its season finale (whoa!).

As for, Young Sheldon, which debuted back in 2017, welcomed its sixth season last year and has already been renewed for a seventh. It became an instant hit and one of the most watched comedies on television. Young Sheldon is played by Iain Armitage, a  nine-year-old version of Jim Parsons’ character from the original series. What’s best is that Parsons occasionally makes voiceover cameos in the series, which has been a real delight for fans!

Are you excited about the next Big Bang project?
