In the finale of the 18th season, we saw the boat in which Gibbs is traveling turned out broken. We know that the team began looking for Gibbs as they discovered a boat that was destroyed. However, they ultimately discovered that Gibbs was following Marcie Warren, the journalist and that they were both investigating a homicide.

The schedule was on 8/7c period on Tuesday. They shifted it to 9/8c Monday.
