Ji Sung Has Parted Ways with Namoo Actors

Ji Sung is one of the most famous South Korean actors, and he has played in many K-dramas. He debuted back in 1999 with the series’ KAIST’, and the rest is history. The actor has been at Namoo Actors for eleven years, and his contract expired.

Namoo Actors released a statement

The agency announced that Ji Sung’s contract expired, but ‘The Devil Judge’ drama will still be promoted. Reportedly, the actor is thinking of starting his own agency or signing a new contract with another one. The actor signed under Namoo Actors in 2019, and in 2015 he won the MBC Drama Award for his character in the drama ‘Kill Me, Heal Me’. Other awards followed, and in 2017 he received the SBS Drama Awards for his role in ‘Defendant’.

Ji Sung is an experienced actor

It makes sense that he would think about opening his own agency. Ji Sung has played in many dramas, and he has a lot of acting experience. He is also 44 years old and mature enough to become a mentor to younger actors. His wife is also a talented and popular actress, Lee Bo Young, and she could be of tremendous help.

The Devil judge: plot and synopsis

Ji Sung plays a judge, Kang Yo-Han, who enjoys punishing corrupt men. Underneath his elegant and aristocratic look, he hides a secret. The plot thickens as other characters get involved. Kim Min-Jung plays Jung Sun-A, an executive director of a foundation, She is popular in influent circles, and the judge becomes her enemy as he tries to get in her way. Detective Yoon Soo-Hyun, played by Park Gyu- Young, is also trying to help Kim Ga-On find out the judge’s secret. The first episode aired on July 3, and there are 16 episodes.
