Apple is not the only brand releasing powerful smartwatches. Huawei has also been involved in the industry, and the Watch GT 2 and Watch FIT models are both pretty interesting.

According to NotebookCheck.net, Huawei brings a lot of new features for both the Watch GT 2 and Watch FIT models. The new updates have already started to be rolled out, and you’ll be able to get your hands on them through the Huawei Health app.

Security improvements for both smartwatches are included

Firmware version v11.0.14.53 has reached Watch GT 2, and among the new stuff, the update brings the functionality of showing running metrics in real-time on the AoD (always-on-display).

Along with the new update, both the Watch GT 2 and Watch FIT smartwatches can be secured using a password. And that is such a great feature, especially nowadays, when security is crucial!

Huawei released its Watch GT 2 smartwatch in September 2019, and the official presentation is relevant enough:

HUAWEI WATCH GT series is always exploring the limits of smart watch battery life. With HUAWEI’s self-developed wearable chip Kirin A1, the dual-chip design and intelligent power saving technology, it serves you day and night for up to 2 weeks.1.

The Watch FIT model was released in September 2020, and Huawei presents it as follows:

Featuring a gorgeous 1.64″ rectangle AMOLED display and 280 x 456 HD resolution,2 HUAWEI WATCH FIT delivers an ultra-clear and wide viewing experience. Auto-brightness adjustment offers better viewing in sunlight while the six Always-On3 watch faces allow you to express your personal style and mood on any given day.
