House of Cards Season 7 – Would It Ever Be Released?

Due to the scandals around Kevin Spacey, House of Cards, Netflix’s popular show was suddenly cut short during mid-season.

The show was doing extremely well until Kevin Spacey got caught in a sexual assault controversy.

After a total of six seasons, the show’s creators decided to call it quits, claiming that this could be the finale season.

However, fans are still waiting for the seventh season of House of Cards.

The show is an adaptation of a novel by Michael Dobbs that was published over thirty years ago. It received worldwide praise and appreciation.

The plot follows the city’s politics.

Its focus is the Democratic congressman Franck Underwood of the 5th parliamentary constituency of South Carolina and House Majority Whip, who wants to deal retribution on those who crossed him.

Though the six seasons of the series were highly captivating, there may be some bad news in store for the seventh one.

To put it simply, there won’t be the 7th season of House Of Cards. It is quite a disappointment for the millions of fans who were hoping for a new season.

Why Did It Get Cancelled?

When you look at it from an objective perspective, it makes sense that the show was canceled.

First of all, Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of sexual assault.

Also, Rapp was only 14 years old at that time.

Kevin Spacey, the star of the series, had to quit due to the claims.

It would be weird to renew a new season without the main actor.

Netflix has a well-known policy of ditching some movies or series according to when they were released.

The streaming service is considering withdrawing House of Cards from its offer due to the backlash it provoked among watchers.

That is one of Netflix’s ways of protecting its good name and reputation, so it’s very understandable.

We hope that the producers will find a way around the current situation and produce the seventh season, but, as things are looking like now, the chances are extremely slim.
