Hogwarts Legacy – Spells Missing from the Game

screenrant.com

There are more spells in the wizarding world than there are in Hogwarts Legacy, and some of them, in particular, would be interesting to see in the game as well along with those already available.

One of the open world RPG’s best features is its combat system, which lets players combine up to 26 different spells—or more, if they choose the dark wizard path—in any way they see fit.

But for both new and devoted fans of the series, the inclusion of some other iconic Harry Potter spells could have made battling other wizards in Hogwarts Legacy even more enjoyable.

It is entirely feasible that these extra spells will be added once an expansion is released.

Hopefully, some of these iconic spells from the main story will make an appearance in the game in future DLCs.

In the meantime, here are some of the spells fans would definitely like to use in the game!

Confundo

If Confundo were ever to appear in Hogwarts Legacy, it would probably rank among the best spells in the game.

Its ability to temporarily confuse people makes it an excellent tool for manipulation and a less extreme and “unforgivable” one than Imperio!

As a result, Confundo might serve as a useful backup plan in Hogwarts Legacy, particularly for witches and wizards who like to play stealthily.

The player could use this charm to make their foes forget what they saw or even completely forget their animosity toward the protagonist if they get discovered.

The Animagus Spell

It would be a game-changer to have the option of becoming an Animagus in Hogwarts Legacy, even though it’s more of a magical ability that involves a variety of steps than a true spell.

The same wizarding world could be seen from a new, entertaining angle if players had the ability to change into an animal at will.

In fact, one main character of the game, Natsai Onai, is an Animagus.

She talks about her time as a gazelle with deep fondness, which makes it all the more disappointing that the players don’t have access to the same opportunity of turning into an animal.

Expecto Patronum

It is shocking that Expecto Patronum, arguably the most famous spell from Harry Potter, was left out of Hogwarts Legacy.

It has the capacity to call forth a Patronus, a spirit protector capable of defending witches and wizards from Dementors.

The soul-sucking specters can be briefly encountered by players while visiting Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy but Expecto Patronum is not needed to defeat them.

This spell would be extremely helpful if a future Hogwarts Legacy DLC made Dementors a more frequent enemy. It would also be really immersive because everyone has a different animal Patronus.

Talantallegra

The Dancing Feet Spell, also known as Talantallegra, is a lesser-known Harry Potter spell that would be a hilarious addition to Hogwarts Legacy.

As its moniker would suggest, it makes the target’s legs begin to move erratically, giving the impression that they are performing an excessively enthusiastic dance routine.

Talantallegra would not only lock enemies in place during combat, but it would also provide some amusing moments.

Many players wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to witness evil Hogwarts Legacy characters like Rookwood performing a wild jig without being able to stop at will.
