The wizarding school Uagadou, which is mentioned in Hogwarts Legacy, differs significantly from Hogwarts in a number of ways, and this even includes the manner in which spells are performed!

Based on the stylized map of Uagadou’s location in Uganda, as shown by Natsai Onai, this mysterious magical school is depicted as a structure carved into a mountain covered in mist.

While Hogwarts Legacy may transport players to the castle to learn about wizardry, it also serves as a reminder that Hogwarts is not unique in its function.

Some additional wizarding schools that are located in various nations may already be known to players who have read the Harry Potter novels or watched the movies.

But the African wizarding school Uagadou is the only other wizarding school highlighted in Hogwarts Legacy so if you want to know more about it, make sure to play the game – or just read on!

Due to unique circumstances, players begin Hogwarts Legacy as a 5th year student rather than a first-year.

However, someone else may relate to the player since she transfers to Hogwarts from a different magical school and experiences being a new student – Natsai Onai!

In a follow-up, Hogwarts Legacy may be able to include additional wizarding schools aside from Hogwarts, but for now, we get to learn more about Natsai Onai’s previous school.

The Griffindor companion is more than happy to provide fascinating information about the mystical Uagadou.

Uagadou is the biggest wizarding school in the world

That’s right! As expansive as Hogwarts seems to be, especially in the game, the actual biggest wizarding school in the world is Uagadou, and it is situated in the “Mountains of the Moon.”

The school frequently experiences mists, which combined with its elevated location give the impression that it is floating, as Natty tells the player character.

Uagadou is actually carved into the mountain, unlike Hogwarts, which has an entire castle serving as the school, and Natty remembers the location as simply breathtaking.

Uagadou Witches and Wizards don’t rely on wands to channel their magic

She’s gotten used to using a wand at Hogwarts, but Natty informs the player that Uagadou students have a more intuitive connection to magic and don’t frequently use wands.

Natty mentions the advantages of being able to use spells even when she doesn’t have her wand, although she admits the wands do give spell casting a more “dramatic” flair.

Even though she loves Hogwarts, Natty admits to missing her previous school as well.

The wizarding world of Harry Potter is expanded in Hogwarts Legacy, and this may give gamers and Harry Potter fans alike hope that a future game may take place in a different school such as Uagadou.
