Have You Ever Wonder Why We Never Met Other Intelligent Life?

NASA scientists explain why we never met other lives.

All intelligent life has destroyed itself before extending enough points in evolution to carry such an encounter. They believe that humans would have the same fate if we didn’t take action.

Read down below for more information about this theory.

What Other Theory Have Scientists Discovered?

Known as the ‘Great Filter’ theory, various life forms have existed during the universe’s life. The sad part is that they destroyed themselves before they could make touch with Earth.

They wrote that all lives, such as humans, have entrenched dysfunctions that may “snowball quickly into the Great Filter.”

According to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in southern California, if we learn and take steps, there is little chance for humans to avoid extinction.

Here is what astrophysicist Jonathan Jiang wrote:

The key to humanity successfully traversing such a universal filter is… identifying [destructive] attributes in ourselves and neutralizing them in advance.

What Other Things Did The Paper Said?

The paper has not been peer-reviewed.

Nuclear war, climate change, pandemics, and uncontrolled artificial intelligence could wipe out humans and intelligent life on other planets.

The researchers said that the biggest challenge would be to work together to survive.

History has shown that intraspecies competition and, more importantly, collaboration, has led us towards the highest peaks of invention. And yet, we prolong notions that seem to be the antithesis of long-term sustainable growth: Racism, genocide, inequity, sabotage, concluded the scientists.

How About Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is a simulation of human Intelligence in machines that are supposed to think like humans and mimic their actions.

The ideal characteristic of artificial Intelligence is the ability to rationalize and take action to achieve a specific goal.
When most people hear about artificial Intelligence, they think about robots. This problem is because films and novels sell stories about human-like machines that wreak on Earth, but nothing is further from the truth.
