Wondering where the Kinetic Blade is hiding in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2? The Kinetic Blade is an exclusive new melee weapon in Fortnite Season 2, and is quite the catch. The most recent season of Fortnite has once again changed things up with a futuristic neo-Tokyo aesthetic and new POIs all across the Island. The Kinetic Blade is a themed weapon with sleek katana roots that you shouldn’t miss out on!

What’s more interesting is that although it is quicker to wield and demands greater precision, the Kinetic Blade is pretty much similar to the Shockwave Hammer. Check out all the locations below to find the Kinetic Blade and explore more!

Where is the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, Kenjutsu Crossing is the POI where you may find a Kinetic Blade. You should have no problem finding this melee weapon at this new location because there are actually nine of them within the main structure. How cool is that?

And that’s not all.

The thing with the Kinetic Blades is that they spawn directly in the middle of the POI near the southeast corner of the map.

BONUS: buy a Kinetic Blade from the NPC Mizuki (the eastern watchtower inside The Citadel in the northwest area of the map, to the right).

As intriguing as it might be, the new Kinetic Blade is quite tricky! Why’s that?! Well, in case you were wondering, this melee weapon comes with two functions:

  1. Use the aim button to launch the initial assault (L2 on PS5); three consecutive blows will cause your opponent to fall backward.
  2. The second assault is a charged one (R2 on PS5); you’ll surge forward straight ahead and deliver a devastating katana strike.

It’s a good idea to experiment with the Kinetic Blade in a quiet setting and get comfortable with it before jumping into a battle because it’s an odd weapon that necessitates getting up close and personal with opponents.
