Death Stranding, the sci-fi open-world game that was released in early 2022, is now available for free for a limited time via Epic Games Store. However, you’ll have to hurry up if you want to benefit from the offer, as it won’t last forever. The game will be free to grab from the online store until May 25.

In Death Stranding, you’ll step in the shoes of Sam Bridges, who needs to do his best in order to connect the last survivors from the USA. The country has been devastated, and Sam remains pretty much the only hope that humanity has.

The description of the game sounds like this, courtesy of Steam:

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded in this definitive DIRECTOR’S CUT.

In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society.

As Sam Bridges, your mission is to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America.

You can also choose to grab the Death Stranding Director’s Cut version from Steam. This variant includes a photo mode, a high frame rate, as well as ultra-wide monitor support. Last but not least, the version also includes cross-over content from the legendary Half-Life series and Cyberpunk 2077.

If you want to play Death Stranding on PC, you must ensure your system meets at least these requirements: Windows 10 OS, Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 590 graphics card, DirectX 12, and 80 GB of storage space. These specs enable smooth gameplay, stunning visuals, and seamless installation.
