Nobody can deny the huge success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. A sequel is under development by Infinity Ward, and it seems to bring even more advanced military combat than before.

We’re only months away from the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and we can already polish our consoles or whatever gaming gear we have at home. Call of Duty titles usually don’t disappoint!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is coming on October 28

The sequel of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming near Halloween, and there’s no telling if the developer and publisher will do it on purpose or not. But our opinion is that they did it on purpose, which is great. What could be better for a brutal and military game than to arrive for the fans near Halloween?

The release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set for October 28, as the new trailer reveals:

The video’s description sounds like this, quoting from the ‘Call of Duty’ channel itself:

Task Force 141 makes its massive return with a global squad of iconic veterans, these Operators include Captain John Price, Simon “Ghost” Riley, John “Soap” MacTavish, Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick and introducing Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas

Modern Warfare® II releases October 28, 2022.

The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title was released in 2019, and it’s actually a remake of an older game of the iconic series. It was available for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as for PC. This could mean that the sequel Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 might follow suit, although surely a lot of fans of the series want it for other platforms as well, such as Nintendo Switch or Stadia.

Are you ready to join the action in the upcoming Call of Duty on October 28?
