One of the highlights of the new smartwatch is its temperature sensor capable of checking the user’s body temperature once every five seconds. The device is even capable of spotting temperature changes as slight as 0.1 degrees Celsius. The sensor seems to be dedicated more to women.

But the new Apple Watch Series 8 has even more to offer. We also have to mention the implementation of two motion sensors responsible for telling the user if he’s been through a severe car crash or not.

Apple Watch Series 8 goes on sale on September 16

We have a bit more than a week to wait until we can get our hands on Apple Watch Series 8. The smartwatch comes in two price variants. You can buy the GPS model for $399 or the cellular model for 100 bucks more.

The new smartwatch from Apple is also very durable, as you can expect from any other wearable that comes from a top company these days. You can use it while underwater, through some dust, and it will also not be a problem if the gadget undergoes some bumps. The display won’t get damaged.

Deidre Caldbeck, Director at Apple Watch Product Marketing, explained:

Series 8 is designed to keep you connected to the people and things that you care about most. It motivates you to stay active and fit. With Workouts and Fitness+, there are so many ways to exercise using Apple Watch.

The battery life of the new smartwatch is also pretty interesting, as it reaches 18 hours. In other words, you’ll have plenty of time to keep the smartwatch active on your wrist.
