A lot of those who have a Google Pixel phone at home eagerly wait for the Android 14 update to land. The reasons are obvious, as the new version of the operating system owned by Google will feature plenty of powerful features, such as the battery health checker.

But Google Pixel phones won’t be the only devices that Android 14 will work on. Even though the Google Pixel devices received the beta version of Android 14, non-Google phones will have to wait due to the customization allowed by OEMs. Some popular devices have already received Android 14 updates in the form of pre-release or beta versions, while others will have to wait for more.

A few devices have opened the Android 14 beta program. Here is a list of the devices that have participated in the beta program, according to XDA:

  • Lenovo Tab Extreme Wi-Fi (TB570FU)
  • Nothing Phone 1 (spacewar)
  • OnePlus 11 (salami)
  • Oppo Find N2 (whiteswan)
  • Oppo Find N2 Flip (dragonfly)
  • Realme GT 2 Pro (RMX3301)
  • Tecno Camon 20 series
  • iQOO 11
  • Vivo X90 Pro
  • Xiaomi 12T (plato)
  • Xiaomi 13 (fuxi)
  • Xiaomi 13 Pro (nuwa)
  • Xiaomi Pad 6 (pipa)

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and there may be other devices participating in the Android 14 beta program as well.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that OEM-specific beta releases don’t align with Google’s beta program. These releases may lack periodic OTA updates and have a stripped-down version compared to OEM skins. Despite these limitations, if your phone is on the list, you’re likely to be among the first to receive the stable Android 14 update when it becomes ready.

Google made a splash with the unveiling of Android 14, bringing a host of captivating features within the new operating system. As the months progressed, the tech giant treated users to the release of three beta iterations, fine-tuning the software in preparation for its highly anticipated stable version. With August 2023 on the horizon, enthusiasts eagerly await the moment when Google will present the world with the final edition of Android 14.
