5 Amazing Video Games with Terrible Boss Battles

gamefreaks365.com

As fun and exciting as they can be, it’s no secret that most video games have their fair share of flaws as well, which can sometimes be related to one or more of their characters or enemies.

However, this does not always mean the game is bad overall.

With that being said, we have compiled a list containing 5 great games with pretty lousy bosses.

They are featured in no particular order and you don’t have to worry about us spoiling anything for you either.

  1. Elden Ring: Godskin Duo

One of the Elden Ring fights that many players find the most frustrating is Godskin Duo.

This is a duo boss, as the name suggests, but the problem is that the arena isn’t nearly as large as it ought to be.

Both are trying to kill you in a small space, and the fight is barely accessible because of how cramped it all feels.

It’s undoubtedly not a fun battle that you want to accomplish as quickly as possible and move on to something else.

  1. Dark Souls: Bed of Chaos

It’s safe to say that Bed of Chaos is the worst boss in the entire Dark Souls game.

You basically have to just run around without dying rather than actually fight because it is so outrageously unfair to the player. It’s really frustrating and feels more like a puzzle.

It’s quite challenging as you have to attack specific areas of the boss because the ground literally tries to swallow you whole.

  1. Borderlands: The Destroyer

Another final boss that’s extremely disappointing is the Destroyer.

The horrifyingly grotesque giant monster takes so long to kill that you will be totally and utterly bored by the time the battle is finally over.

It’s not at all difficult to target its weak points. Simply put, it takes a lot of time and makes for an absurd battle as a whole.

  1. Yakuza Kiwami: Kyohei Jingu

One of the main foes in Yakuza Kiwami is Kyohei Jingu and it’s a painful, painful experience!

You go against 3 bosses at the same time: Jingu and 2 lieutenants.

They all have weapons, including knives and guns, and Jingu can even throw grenades at you.

Canonically, as the Dragon of Dojima, you should be able to destroy all of them in an instant.

However, from a gameplay perspective, you’ll just waste your resources, and fighting the amazing final boss will just become even more difficult as a result.

  1. Batman Arkham Knight: The Excavator

This excavator boss is such a frustrating disappointment because the Batman Arkham games are known for their epic showdowns with famous DC Comics foes.

Admittedly, not all of Arkham Knight’s battles are up to par with those in previous games, but after this unfortunately designed battle, it became clear that Arkham Knight featured the very worst boss fights in the entire franchise.
