A new version of WhatsApp for Windows has been released, and it comes with enhanced performance as well as a revised user experience that seems more natural when used on Windows. The new design features use parts of Fluent design while retaining the qualities of WhatsApp’s mobile applications.

This version brings a number of important enhancements, one of the most notable of which is an increase in the number of individuals who can join in voice and video chats. Users are now able to take part in voice calls with up to 32 other people at the same time, while video chats can include up to eight users at the same time. It is anticipated that this expanded capacity will continue to rise over time in order to accommodate an even greater number of participants.

A revised version of the WhatsApp Windows app was made available late in 2016, and among its new features were an updated user interface, enhanced support for multiple devices, and the capacity to transmit drawings by utilizing Windows Ink compatibility. This latest release is an additional refinement that brings more under-the-hood enhancements to improve the user experience.

In addition to the new software for Windows, WhatsApp has also released a beta version of a new client for the macOS operating system. The application for macOS also has similar enhancements, including an interface that appears to be more native to macOS. Users of Android tablets can also try out an improved experience that is now being tested out in beta form.

Due to the fact that WhatsApp was designed primarily for mobile use, it has had some difficulty in providing a satisfying user experience on larger devices. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that these recent enhancements would make it simpler for users to set up several devices with their account and use WhatsApp across a variety of platforms.

Users who rely on the popular messaging app for both personal and business communication are sure to be pleased to learn that WhatsApp has released a new version that delivers a plethora of changes and is sure to be appreciated by those users.
