Fortnite Chapter 3 has finally arrived, offering us a new chance to show off our wins and earn some sleek bonus XP and more rewards.
Chapter 3 is indeed one of the best parts of this year in Fortnite, mainly because fans have waited for this for quite a long time. And the new chapter has come with many features, including a map upgrade and the much-awaited Spider-Man crossover. However, the arrival of a special item dubbed the Victory Crown is currently stirring quite the buzz.

What is the Victory Crown?
According to Epic Games, the Victory Crown is a unique item given to all players who can make it to the final moments of a match. How great is that?
That means only the best players will be able to get that, which is quite challenging!
And probably the best part is that if you earn a Victory Crown, you’ll have to wear it in your next match. The win will also offer you a chance to earn that sweet bonus XP, but there’s a catch.
Winning the crown will make you a target for other players, as well!
However, if you succeed in winning a match while wearing the crown, you’ll get a unique Crowning Achievement emote, showing how many matches you’ve won while wearing the Victory Crown!
That’s quite the burden and victory!
How to Get a Victory Crown?
To win a Victory Crown is pretty challenging, but the following steps are actually the minimum requirements:
Solo: Be one of the top 4 players
Duos: Be in one of the top 2 teams
Trios: Be on the winning team
Squads: Be on the winning team
And there’s the other thing: stealing the Victory Crown!
You can do that by eliminating another player who wears it. However, remember that you’ll be the next target, so be careful with that!
The Victory Crown Challenges
Wearing the Victory Crown won’t be easy at all! There are also some quests you can complete while wearing the precious crown.
But that’s just great because you’ll be able to earn more bonus XP!
Here are all the challenges:
- Survive a Storm Circle while wearing the crown
- Eliminated a Crown Wearer
- Eliminated a Crown Wearer while wearing a crown
- Captured a Victory Crown
- Eliminated opponents while wearing a crown
