Vivo S9 Might Pack These Cool Specs and Features: Rear Design Revealed

Vivo is getting ready to introduce a new smartphone under its popular series “S,” the Vivo S9. The launch event is tipped for March 3, and some of the phone’s features have been now revealed.

Vivo S9 will arrive as the successor to the Vivo S7. The rumour mill makes quite the buzz online, hinting at some of the best specs for the next-gen S handset, including a mighty processor and camera.

Vivo S9’s Rear Design Revealed: What Should You Know

Vivo released an image of the Vivo S9, unveiling the rear design and, of course, the camera module.

The official teaser shows that there will be a triple rear camera module arranged in a sleek rectangular shape at the top left corner of the phone. But that’s not all.

We can spot the AI camera branding and the apertures, f/1.9 to f/2.4. 

As for Vivo S9’s design, the teaser reveals two versions. A cool metal frame with a gradient finish for one model and a blue finish for the other.

According to Vivo, there will be an upfront camera of 44MP alongside a selfie flash. 

Vivo S9 Possible Specs and Features: What to Expect

Vivo S9 has been recently certified by TENAA, the Chinese certification database. The smartphone is rumoured to wear the model number V2072A and pack the following specs and features:

Display details

Vivo S9 is said to sport a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a fast 90Hz refresh rate. 

Hardware and software details

Under the hood, the smartphone might get its power from a MediaTek Dimensity 830 processor.

Vivo S9 is likely to ship with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box.

Camera skills

Coming to camera capabilities, the upcoming Vivo S9 is believed to house a triple rear camera setup of 64MP, including an 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP tertiary monochrome sensor.

Battery capacity

A battery of 4,000mAh with 33 fast charging is said to keep the lights on for several hours.
