Great news for Marvel fans: the new Marvels trailer is finally available! The Marvels, the follow-up to Captain Marvel, features a cast that is mostly recognized from other Marvel Cinematic Universe films. All of these characters can be seen in the film’s debut teaser from 2023. Even ardent comic book fans may not be familiar with the movie’s antagonist, Kree warrior Dar-Benn (starring Zawe Ashton), who makes her debut in this teaser. Check out the Marvels trailer below:

Is it as cool as we think it is, because it looks spectacular, and we can’t wait for more information and sneak peeks!

So, taking a closer look at the teaser trailer, we can draw something really intriguing. For example, the majority of our wonderful heroes, many of whom we haven’t seen in a while, are the main emphasis of the trailer. Quite impressive! Notably, the teaser begins with Monica Rambeau, the SWORD agent we first encountered as an adult in WandaVision, performing tests with the incredible Nick Fury on a space station (could he actually get it through Secret Invasion?!).

But there’s a curious thing. Right when Monica utilizes her abilities, she actually swaps places with the child hero Kamala Khan, reenacting the spatial transfer from Ms. Marvel’s post-credits scene. Well, that’s something you’ll think about it later! Moreover, Kamala utilizes her abilities to transform into Carol Danvers when Rambeau and Fury go to the Khan home to investigate.

The interaction between the incredibly strong Danvers, the intellectual Rambeau, and the animated Khan is the major focus of the teaser but wait a minute. If you analyze everything and look closely, there are actually a few hints of a deeper narrative throughout. Isn’t that cool?!

For instance, the Kree Empire, the conquering aliens from Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain Marvel play quite a role in that narrative. We’ll obviously get more details into The Marvels ‘verse as time passes by and the official launch date approaches!
