After the cancellation of Game of Thrones in 2019, Stranger Things Season 4 was Netflix’s greatest success of the year. This season of Stranger Things was the most expansive and ambitious yet, with episodes running over an hour  and the introduction of the series’ main antagonist, Vecna. Vecna, portrayed by Jamie Campbell Bower, has risen to become the show’s most interesting antagonist once it was shown that he was responsible for several incidents during the show’s first three seasons.

Our Hawkins youth attempted to kill Vecna at the conclusion of Season 4, but the monster managed to escape. In addition, his grand scheme to break through to the Upside Down from our world was a success. After the fourth season concluded, the Upside Down had begun to merge with Hawkins.

Fans have some requests for the final season of Stranger Things, which is currently filming. People are interested in finding out how Will Byers is related to Vecna and the Upside Down. In the first episode of Stranger Things, the Demogorgon abducted Will and took him to the Upside Down, where the Mind Flayer took over his body. The link was highlighted when, upon Will’s return to Hawkins in Season 4, the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end.

Many people, not just viewers, are curious about where things are between Will and Vecna. Jamie Campbell Bower told NME that he supports the idea as well. In Season 5, Jamie claims that Vecna will have it out for the whole gang, regardless of whether or not he would specifically target Will.

Vecna’s pissed, he’s properly vexed. I don’t think he’s slunk off licking his wounds in misery. He’s rebuilding, and he’s out for blood. It’s like, you’ve really f**king pushed the buttons now, that classic Jason Voorhees thing – you’ve made a big mistake.
