Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Will Charge Incredibly Fast

It’s a matter of days until Samsung will release the Galaxy Watch 5 to the market. We were shocked back in early July when we found out that none of the upcoming smartwatch models in the lineup will have a rotating bezel.

However, our publication got some info about the upcoming smartwatch from Samsung even in May. As for now, we just found out about the device’s charging abilities, and we must say that we’re pretty impressed!

Charging almost half in half an hour

If what @SnoopyTech claims is correct, users will get the chance to charge the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 by almost half in just half an hour. That’s great news, considering that carrying a charger around each time you go to work isn’t exactly everyone’s idea of fun.

We’re expecting the information to be correct, although we’ll find out for sure in about a week when Samsung will unveil everything there is to know about Galaxy Watch 5.

We also have hopes that Galaxy Watch 5 will also be featuring the Google Assistant app as its predecessor Galaxy Watch 4 does. The idea of communicating with your device by simply speaking to it instead of pushing buttons is indeed delightful.

Check out what Google has to say about the Assistant app via the official webpage:

When you use Google Assistant, you trust us with your data and it’s our responsibility to protect and respect it. Privacy is personal. More powerful batteries are surely needed for smartwatches, as these devices have significantly grown in popularity in recent years. For instance, global smartwatch shipments increased 24 percent every year to 127.5 million units back in 2021.
