We’re just a bit more than two weeks away from 2023’s debut, and we are already finding out great news regarding the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup of flagship smartphones from Samsung. It’s reasonable to expect the series to come out next year in February.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S22 Ultra, which came out this year in February, is a true powerhouse. Packed with a 6.8-inches Dynamic AMOLED display and a main camera lens of 108MP, the phone is also capable of recording video up to 8K@24fps. But when it comes to tech in general and smartphones in particular, there’s always room for improvement. Samsung will soon prove it once again.

S23 Ultra will record 8K@30fps videos

The best phone in the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup by Samsung will be capable of shooting video content in the amazing quality of 8K@30fps. The claim comes from @Ice Universe through a tweet, and we surely have to take it as seriously as possible. We’re talking about a source that has proven to be pretty reliable over time when it comes to predicting Samsung-related content accurately.

In just three days, the tweet in question generated more than 2,200 likes and almost 100 replies, which is an indication that Samsung fans are delighted about the possible upgrade.

It’s understandable to be excited about the upcoming improvement. A higher fps also means more quality for the video content itself, although, for some people, it could be unnoticeable. Otherwise, plenty of smartphones out there are capable of video recording in 8K, and Samsung has jumped into the bandwagon for quite a while already.

There are plenty of ways that Samsung can improve its forthcoming Galaxy S23 lineup compared to its predecessor, the S22 series. A better processor would also represent a nice addition, and only time will tell for sure what we can expect from Samsung’s future phones.
