Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G vs. OnePlus Nord 2 5G: Which One Wins the Battle of Popularity?

Samsung is a leader on the market, there’s no denying in that. And each and every day, they come with something new to surprise us.

Recently, Samsung has started expanding its range of 5G Samsung phones in India. Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was released, and it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The handset has two RAM models, one of 6GB, and one of 8GB. Its starting price is of Rs 35,999.

But do you know that it has a rival on the market? OnePlus Nord 2 comes with
12GB of RAM, and a starting price of Rs 27,999. But do you know which one to choose?

We’re here to tell you which one is better.

Display

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G comes with a 6.5-inch FDH+ display, with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a 6.43-inch display, with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. It also had Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED with 90HZ refresh rate. They’re both good displays, but AMOLED has won our hearts since day one.

Storage

While Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has 128GB, OnePlus Nord 2 5G has 2 variants to choose from: 128GB or 256GB. The storage is great on both of them.

RAM

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has 6GB and 8GB RAM, and OnePlus Nord 2 5G has 6GB, 8GB and 12GB, so we think they’re both good on this matter.

Camera

The front camera on Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has 32MP, and the other one also has 32MP, so there isn’t much difference here. For the rear camera, on the other hand, Samsung has 64MP  + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP. OnePlus has 50MP+8MP+2MP, so OnePlus wins this one.

Operating System and Processor

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G operates Samsung One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, while OnePlus Nord 2 5G operates Oxygen OS 11.3 based on Android 11. The processor on Samsung Galaxy is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, while the other one has MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI. We choose Snapdragon here.

Battery

Samsung Galaxy comes with a battery of 4,500 mAh, with 25W fast charging. OnePlus has a 4,500 mAh battery, but this one comes with Wrap Charge 65 fast charging. We’ve always loved a phone that charges faster.

No matter which one you choose, they are both great investments and will come in handy at all times.
