PSVR 2 could make an appearance at Sony’s CES press conference. Wouldn’t that be amazing? Honestly, everything is possible right now, but we hope to see the PSVR 2 finally.

Read more below and find out the chances for the PSVR 2 to arrive at the CES event.

PSVR 2 Possible Launch Date Hinted: What to Expect?

The PSVR 2 headset from Sony has been observed in a marketing picture for the next Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which may be an indirect confirmation that the platform will be present at the Japanese manufacturer’s press conference prior to its official debut in 2023. So, what are the chances?!

Although Sony has already made the new device, the price tag, and the release date public, the PSVR 2 has yet to emerge at any live events or conferences where we may see it in use (as it totally should, right?!).
However, we still have to wait for an official confirmation, so CES 2023 could be the best occasion for Sony to debut their new VR headset.

Here are all the cool details about the upcoming PSVR 2:

On February 22, 2023, the much-awaited PSVR 2 will officially debut. The device comes with a great price tag of $549.99, and the lousy factor here is that it cannot be used independently. It actually needs a PlayStation 5!

That means you have to include a PS5 if you want the full (the only) experience with the PSVR 2. It’ll cost you more, but Sony swears it’s worth it!

For the release of PSVR 2, Sony has prepared a number of games created by first-party and third-party companies. Quite impressive, isn’t it?! Among the titles, we have Horizon: Call of the Mountain, a sleek spin-off from the hugely acclaimed Horizon franchise. This game may be enough to persuade the franchise’s ardent fans to purchase a PSVR 2 when it is released (how sure they can be?!).

Sony’s CES 2023 press conference will air at 8 pm ET on January 4 or 2 am CET on January 5 in Europe.
