Pokémon Go’s Festival of Light Brings Dedenne

Mouse and Electric-type Pokémon are nothing new at all, considering that the icon itself of the legendary franchise also qualifies for the description. Of course, we’re talking about the unmistakable Pikachu, but there are even more “fishes” in the sea.

Dedenne is also another mouse Pokémon, and it’s hard to tell if it’s even cuter than Pikachu or not. Dedenne was introduced in Generation VI, and apart from its Electric-type, it’s also a Fairy-type Pokémon. It’s close to impossible to think about Dedenne as being a dangerous creature, but hey, everything seems possible in Pokémon GO!

Dedenne will be the next monster in Pokémon GO

According to the official website of Pokémon GO, Dedenne will be the next monster in the game, as he is added to the Festival of Lights. The same source tells us when the Festival of Lights unfolds:

From Friday, November 5, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time unless otherwise noted.

For those unaware, the upcoming event will allow trainers to make a better connection with their Pokémon. This will be possible through event bonuses, gifts that will be providing more rewards, and so on and so forth.

The official announcement is relevant enough, as it appears on the Pokemon GO website:

Trainers,

The time has come for light to overcome the dark with the much-anticipated debut of Dedenne, the Antenna Pokémon. This Electric- and Fairy-type Pokémon, originally found in the Kalos region, will help illuminate your Pokédex as Electric-type Pokémon begin to appear more frequently in the wild. As Trainers may be familiar with, the Festival of Lights is a time to rediscover and strengthen bonds with all those around you.
