If you’re a fan of Overwatch 2, surely you have reasons to be excited, as Aaron Keller reveals a lot of forthcoming exciting elements that the game will have. Blizzard’s title has been through some interesting changes lately, and it was offered as a free and major upgrade from the very first Overwatch title that initially came out almost a decade ago.

Overwatch 2 is about to make the change to third-person camera for the new Stadium mode, which means that players of the 2023 first-person shooter will soon have new reasons to explore the in-game environment.

The Stadium mode arrives in a few days

Overwatch 2 is expected to receive its new Stadium mode next week, and thanks to Daily Star, we now know what Aaron Keller, the Game Director, said about the forthcoming changes to the game.

If you’re wondering what the new third-person camera will bring for the game’s Stadium mode, here are the words of Aaron Keller himself, as the publication mentioned above quotes:

People’s movement abilities are amplified so just being able to track what enemies are doing is harder [in Stadium],

Pulling the camera out to a third person perspective allows us to be able to do that, and there are a lot of abilities too that might be a little bit more difficult to see in first person.

There’s a bit more lava on the ground and there are abilities like Zarya’s bubbles that can do pulse damage that you can put onto teammates, and so it’s a lot easier for them to recognize what’s on them in third person.

If you’ve never played Overwatch 2, you must need to know that there are plenty of compatible platforms for the game out there. You can run the game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the GeForce Now cloud gaming service from NVIDIA.
