Source: Oppo

Oppo has once again unveiled two new powerful smartphones: the Reno9 and Reno9 Pro models. As expected, many of the specs are out-of-this-world, and we’re glad to share them with you!

GSMArena brings us everything we need to know regarding the technical specs, release dates, and prices of the Oppo Reno9 and Oppo Reno9 Pro models. Both smartphones come with Android 13 out of the box, which is great news considering that many people owning flagships still have to wait for the latest Android update to arrive.

16GB of RAM for the Reno9 Pro

You might say that 16GB of RAM for a smartphone is exaggerated, even in 2022, but Oppo thinks otherwise. That’s why the Chinese firm has crammed such a high amount of RAM memory on its Reno9 Pro device. There are two versions of storage space for this device: 256 GB and 512 GB. There’s no card slot available, but you probably won’t even need one.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor of 5 nm. Oppo Reno9 Pro also features an AMOLED display of 6.7 inches and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The release date for the Oppo Reno9Pro is December 2, and the price revolves around 470 euros.

Snapdragon 778G 5G powers the standard Oppo Reno9

The standard Oppo Reno9 model is powered by the Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset of 6 nm. The display and refresh rate are identical to the one of the Reno9 Pro. The standard Reno9 comes with 8 to 12GB of RAM and two versions of storage space, 256GB and 512 GB.

The main camera lens reaches 64MP, while the selfie camera is capable of capturing photos with its 32MP.

Oppo Reno9 has the same release date as its “older sibling,” and it will cost around 340 euros.

Feel free to tell us which one of the new Oppo phones you would buy and why!
