For those who are looking for love or a partner online, Tinder is the perfect app to use. It shows them photos of the potential matches, and when two individuals “like” each other, it means that they’ve matched. Once matched, they can finally exchange messages, photos, and… you know what else.

But how about an app that resembles Tinder but being built for those who like to travel across the world? That’s exactly what the new software called OfftheGrid has to offer. We all know how those adventurers and explorers of the world like their dating apps: they always want other people who have the same hobbies as them. It’s quite normal for people to look for others who are interested in the same things, however, so we don’t blame them.

OfftheGrid is out NOW

According to TechCrunch, the new OfftheGrid app for travelers was launched yesterday with the purpose of bringing an experience similar to Tinder for those who like to travel.

Users can enhance their traveling hobby even more while using OfftheGrid, and not just by meeting other people interested in the same activity. Users can share their photos of the places they have visited, arrange encounters with other travelers, or find out about new exotic destinations.

If you’re impressed by the places where your potential match has been, you can even manifest your appreciation through a “like.” That will surely make people travel more and discover new places worthy of exploration.

As for Tinder, the app currently has about 57 million users worldwide. Based on the location, age, and orientation you declare, the software will instantly recommend you people from your area.

With or without dating apps, what’s for sure is that there’s a big world out there!
