By encouraging its customers to sign up for its most recent beta, Nothing has now demonstrated that it is progressing with Android 13 for the phone (1). The software on the device is updated to the most recent version, but a user who tests it may discover fewer functionality and a greater number of defects than typical. In exchange for an early look at its upcoming operating system, Nothing is seeking helpful suggestions that it can incorporate into the development of the final, stable version of the OS.

The new mobile technology OEM founded by Carl Pei has just made the announcement that the upcoming significant software upgrade for its phone (1) will be Nothing OS 1.5, which will be based on Android 13. However, the upgrade is not quite complete enough to be released to the public just yet; in fact, the corporation has just acknowledged that it is currently in the open beta phase of testing.

All users can sign up for the testing stage. However, there are some hazards associated, as is the case with the majority of public betas. Nothing has already made the announcement that it will not take any obligation for any “loss” that may be incurred as a result of the usage of the program that is still in the process of development. This “loss” may include malfunctioning features, functions, or applications.

In point of fact, Nothing has yet been indicated if the v1.5 beta is suitable for the typical use of a smartphone on a daily basis; however, the company does recommend that anyone interested in participating in the program first creates a backup.

Users who are ready to incur these risks in order to be an early adopter of Nothing OS 1.5 can apply through the company’s web form beginning right now, and they may obtain access to the new release as early as the middle of December 2022.
