The Moto X40 is rumored to be a forthcoming Android flagship phone that will be upgraded to the most recent top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform from Qualcomm. Motorola has begun to tease the Moto X40. The device, which will most likely be introduced to the worldwide market under the name Edge 40 Pro, has been backed as an all-around performer thanks to the new silicon that it contains. The device’s trademark profound curves serve as the key design cue.

According to the newly released official teasers, the Moto ‘Edge X40’ has been properly rebranded to the more attention-grabbing title of Moto X40. Because of its very late introduction to the Chinese market in 2021, its forerunner was the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Android flagship phone in the entire world. At this point, it would appear that Motorola is making haste to do the same thing with its officially Gen 2-powered replacement.

The significant curvature that prompted the X40’s original series moniker is still obviously present, as seen by its slick new rear panel teaser, despite the fact that the X40’s Edge has been removed from the Chinese market, just as the X30 Pro was removed from the market before it. The reports about the smartphone state that they also apply to its AMOLED display, which has the potential to be of a high-end, not to mention its camera hump, which is more than just faintly similar to the one on the iPhone.

In addition to this, Motorola is now claiming that the Moto X40 will provide a “all-round experience” as a flagship device thanks to the recently verified boost to its processor. On the other hand, the business has not yet disclosed whether or not it will be able to once again beat possible competitors to the launch, such as the Xiaomi 13 Pro or the OnePlus 11.
