After months of rumors, the 3rd gen iPhone SE made its official debut at Apple’s “Peek Performance” presentation on Tuesday, among new iPhone 13 designs, an enhanced iPad Air, and more. Continue reading to discover everything that was unveiled at the event, in case you were wondering what you missed. iPhone SE 3 comes with a similar design to the classic iPhone 8, but with a few enhancements — such as the inclusion of 5G compatibility and Apple’s A15 CPU — that bring the inexpensive iPhone up to date with the current generation of smartphones.

The online leaks were a great source of information about what the upcoming iPhone SE may look like before it was officially announced as the iPhone SE 3. Since we understand the specifications of the third-generation iPhone SE, let’s take a look at what’s new.

iPhone SE 3

Apple introduced the much-awaited heir to the iPhone SE, which will be available in 2020, during its “Peek Performance” event on March 8. In addition to the A15 processor (the same one featured in the iPhone 13 range), 5G, and tougher glass, it retains the same general appearance as its predecessor, the iPhone 8.

The iPhone SE has retained its previous dimensions. Because of its small size including its potent mix of pricing and capabilities, the iPhone SE has quickly become the best-selling smartphone in a world where devices are becoming larger than our hands.
However, unlike the previous iPhone SE models, the SE 3 boasts a more robust glass back & screen, similar to that seen in the iPhone 13 series of smartphones.

The iPhone SE now has 5G capability. Apple has introduced compatibility for 5G technology to the iPhone SE 3. The latest iPhone SE is an improvement over the previous model, the 2020 iPhone SE, which did not have this function. The new iPhone SE has a starting price of $429, and preorders will be available starting on March 11.
