A few clues regarding new features are beginning to surface ahead of the big release date of iOS 17 by Apple. The official event is scheduled for June at WWDC. Thanks to a recent leak on , Twitter, we know a few things about Apple’s plans for iOS 17, but, of course, it lacks many specifics.

Way ahead of the much-awaited release of the iPhone 14 Pro last year, Twitter user “analyst941” offered some sleek and key information about one of the coolest things: the Dynamic Island. Now, the tipster comes with other details regarding iOS 17 this time around. We advise you to take everything with a great deal of salt because the source is not that reliable, and it doesn’t have a history with Apple stuff. However, it’s still better than not having a thing, right?!

So, going back to the source. The tipster released a list of possible iOS 17 features that look really interesting. Have a look at them below:

  • UI upgrade to the Health app, including improvements to the “Favorites” interface
  • The Dynamic Island will offer more to experience
  • More settings for the iPhone 14 Pro’s Always-On Display feature
  • Upgrades and more options for the way we manage notifications
  • Highly improved features for Search and Spotlight
  • Camera app changes (initially planned for the iPhone 14 Pro release) for iPhone 15’s only rather than all iOS 17 devices
  • “An absolute behemoth of ARKit API’s/frameworks”
  • The Custom Accessibility Mode
  • Car Key upgrades and even more advanced  car implementations into the Wallet app
  • Extra filters for Focus modes

But the leak also claims that the tech giant based in Cupertino is actually developing something called “active widgets.” The feature could bring sliders, one-tap buttons, and much more cool stuff to help make widgets more “dynamic.” This is possibly the most substantial claim made in the leak.

Stay tuned for more details about the iOS 17 soon!
