Honor is preparing to get back on track with a pretty impressive phone: the upcoming X50 model. Although the device hasn’t been officially announced yet, we already have some interesting information.

Honor X50 will feature a huge 6.78 AMOLED display of 120Hz, which means that the phone is excellent for gaming in this area. Sure, it’s mandatory to also have a powerful CPU and plenty of RAM memory as well in order to have a handheld device suitable for long gaming sessions. However, the specs of the Honor X50 that have already been leaked don’t indicate that the device will do badly in gaming.

Geekbench and AnTutu benchmarks reveal an impressive CPU for the Honor X50

GSMArena has spotted new appearances of the Honor X50 phone on the Geekbench and AnTuTu benchmarks. The Honor X50 comes equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The benchmark tests reveal that the processor is likely to rival the Snapdragon 778G+. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 builds upon the Snapdragon 695 processor, showcasing enhancements across the board, such as a 40% boost in computational power and 35% improved graphics.

One of the benchmarks reveals that the phone has scored 909 single-core points and 2726 points when it comes to multi-core score. That’s pretty impressive!

Other sources indicate that the Honor X50 phone will also feature a 5800mAh battery,8 to 16GB of RAM, and a main camera sensor of 108MP. The selfie camera will consist of a dual lens that only reach 8MP for the wide sensor. The phone will also be available in three storage versions: 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB.

The price for the Honor X50 is likely to start from CNY1,599, which means roughly $220. That’s pretty cheap for the specs that the phone has to offer, if you ask us!

Honor is planning to launch the upcoming X50 smartphone model after only two days, meaning on July 5.
