GTA 6 Might Be Revealed Soon, as Sony Suggests

After the numerous pieces of gameplay footage regarding GTA 6 that leaked a while ago, the release of the next installment of the legendary Grand Theft Auto series seems closer than ever. But how close could that be?

Thanks to new interesting comments issued by Sony on social media, we might get closer to the answer than ever before. Comicbook.com reveals that the Japanese tech giant has possibly teased the reveal of GTA 6.

Rockstar is still dead silent

Rockstar Games, the company in charge of building the GTA games, hasn’t said anything about a possible release date for the long-awaited GTA 6. However, the company was extremely upset at the hacker who managed to steal the gameplay footage of the upcoming game. There was no secret that GTA 6 was in the works, but even so, nobody liked the fact that gameplay footage from the production phase had leaked. Well, nobody except for many fans of the game series, of course.

Judging by that footage,we already know that there’s 99% confirmation that the location will indeed be set in Vice City. This was an old rumor that was apparently finally confirmed. A return to Vice City (fictional Miami) can certainly be a good idea, although we’re talking about a brand new game. Rockstar has done similar things before in the past. For instance, GTA 5 has recreated large parts of the map that was present on GTA San Andreas, a game that was released 9 years earlier.

GTA 5 is already 9 years old since it was first released, and the period is certainly the longest one that the fans of the series had to wait for a sequel. Hopefully, it won’t take more than 9 years for Rockstar to release GTA 6.
