Meta once again shows that it’s giving a lot of attention to the well-known Facebook app for Android, and there’s no wonder why. Back in April, there were almost 3 billion people using the social network. That’s more than a third of the planet’s population, and you certainly need to keep them satisfied.

Facebook 378.0.0.0.93 alpha is now available and ready to be downloaded in the form of APK via APKMirror. Surprisingly enough, this APK doesn’t support old versions of the Android OS. Your phone will need to be equipped with at least Android 10 (Q, API 29). We were also expecting at least a bundle version of the update, but perhaps the simple APK file exposed will be enough.

There’s no change log exposed so far, but that doesn’t mean that downloading and installing the update is useless. Updates frequently arrive for the Facebook mobile app, assuring at least some minimum improvements or fixes.

The Facebook app offers a lot of benefits for those willing to share photos with others, make friends, learn about new events and social activities, join groups based on certain topics, and a lot more. Here’s a little description that APKMirror reveals, just in case you don’t know about some of the software’s basics:

Facebook also helps you keep up with the latest news and current events around the world. Subscribe to your favorite celebrities, brands, news sources, artists, or sports teams to follow their newsfeeds, watch live streaming videos and be caught up on the latest happenings no matter where you are!

The most important desktop features of Facebook are also available on the app, such as writing on timelines, liking photos, browsing for people, and editing your profile and groups.

Facebook 378.0.0.0.93 alpha APK will occupy only a bit more than 66MB of storage space, which practically means nothing for most phones nowadays.
