Epic Games, the developer responsible for Fortnite, has finally confirmed via Twitter that Dragon Ball is indeed joining the action from the notorious free-to-play battle royale game. Therefore, there’s no use having any sort of doubt anymore.

Four days are all that’s left until the big crossover lands. Until that time, we are free to try guessing what the collaboration will bring and if Krillin will play the role of the punching bag once again.

The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover will launch sooner than expected. Back at about mid-July, we shared the news about the collaboration possibly landing somewhere towards the end of August. The date of August 16 is obviously far from the last days of the month, meaning that we’ll get to enjoy the upcoming crossover sooner.
The photo and the description from the tweet obviously represent a hint that the dragon Shenron will also make its appearance in the game. We know from the anime that he grants any wish for the one who collects all seven dragon balls, which means that we can surely wait for him to do something similar in the crossover as well.
Surprisingly enough, previous info reveals that Bulma will also be present in the crossover. While we know that characters such as Goku and Vegeta can impress through their fighting techniques, we can’t say the same about Bulma. Vegeta’s wife and Goku’s old friend only have superpowers when she needs to put Master Roshi in his place after the Turtle Hermit acts in a perverted way towards her.
