Goku fighting Piccolo during the World Tournament in Dragon Ball remains one of the most intense and brutal battles in the history of the franchise. The beloved Saiyan was just a teenager at that time when Gohan wasn’t even born. Even so, Goku had tremendous strength, and he was able to match with the nefarious Piccolo.

It may come as a surprise to the younger Dragon Ball fans that Piccolo was once an evil character, but that’s true. The Namekian, who was also known as Ma Junior, hated Goku with his entire being and tried to kill him during the tournament. Even so, the two fighters became trusted allies in early Dragon Ball Z.

The ‘Chaos at the World Tournament’ DLC is coming

Just as we shared the news back in early January, the next Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot update will include the Tenkaichi Budokai Arc where Goku was just a teenager. Now, we can check out a few screenshots of how the adaptation will look in the game:

The battle between Goku and Piccolo in Dragon Ball is definitely a memorable one. It all started when Goku, the spiky-haired martial artist with a heart of gold, found out that he’s not the only powerful fighter in the world. Enter Piccolo, a green-skinned demon with a serious attitude problem and a penchant for destruction.

The two clashed in an epic battle that left the earth shaking and fans on the edge of their seats. Goku, being the hero he is, fought with all his might to protect his friends and loved ones from Piccolo’s wrath. Meanwhile, Piccolo was determined to prove himself as the strongest being in the world and crush Goku under his heel.

The battle itself was a wild ride of energy blasts, flying fists, and insane power-ups. Goku and Piccolo traded blows, each pushing the other to their limits.
