Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 79: Goku’s Fight With Gas Begins

The Dragon Ball Super Manga has taken an unexpected turn after Granolah realizes that Goku and Vegeta are not responsible for his mother’s death. The three warriors even decided to team up and go after the real foe: Gas, a member of the Heeters.

Gas has even become the strongest being in the Universe after asking for that wish using the dragon balls. This means that he’s stronger than any other foe that Goku and Vegeta had to deal with. Furthermore, he’s even stronger than the two Saiyans as well. But in Dragon Ball, it’s not necessarily the strongest one who wins.

Can Goku defeat Gas?

We already have a peek into Chapter 79 of the Dragon Ball Super Manga, and we find out that Goku already had the guts to confront Gas. The two fighters are seen battling, and Vegeta is giving Granolah a senzu bean:

Goku is now stronger than he was during his fight against Moro, meaning that he has a chance to defeat Gas not only because he’s Goku. If individually, Goku, Vegeta, or Granolah can’t bring down Gas, they also have the option of teaming up or trying a fusion.

Gas is the real assassin of Granolah’s mother, and he has both Goku and Vegeta on his hit list as well. What’s even more interesting is that Frieza is on that list as well, meaning that we’ll see a return of the former intergalactic tyrant sooner or later. Furthermore, there’s no telling how strong Frieza is at this point. Perhaps he’ll even save Goku and Vegeta from getting killed by Gas, which would be amazing. Frieza did save Goku from elimination from the Tournament of Power twice, so it might happen again at a deeper level.
