What’s Up With the Tornadoes in Fortnite?

Epic Games announced on Twitter that the latest update would add new weather mechanics. How cool is that?

The new addition won’t harm players but will help them use tornadoes as an effective and cool method of transport. Also, dark storms can allow players to get a temporary speed boost, but only if a rogue bolt strikes them.

And we’ve thought Spider-Man is one of the biggest things in Fortnite.

Well, check out Epic Games’ official announcement on Twitter and see it for yourself:

However, as great as things could be, you should know a few details. For example, your chances of getting stricken again will be lowered a lot.

Epic Games explains:

“Lightning doesn’t strike twice back-to-back – once you’ve been struck, lightning won’t strike you again right after.”

Well, that’s somehow a bit challenging, right?

But, the addition of such weather mechanics puts Battlefield 2042 to shame big time. Unfortunately, Battlefield 2042 didn’t start that well and continues to get quite messy.

Battlefield 2042 wanted to bring players a great deal of weather carnage right after its release, but somehow, its launch didn’t go as planned. Now players ended up looking for a new experience in the Fortnite ‘verse!

The tornadoes might be a lot to deal with, but they’re sure a cool addition. Stay tuned to find more Fortnite news and tips!
