We are all very excited about the new content that has been released in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5. From new weapons, such as the Carrack.300, FR Avancer, and M13C to much-needed maps, the Vondel Nuke contract, and new game types. However, that’s not what we came for today! With the addition of three significant characters to the game’s roster of Operators during the Season 5 event, it has been apparent that the partnerships in Warzone and MW2 aren’t yet coming to an end. Why’s that?! The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone creators recently made the announcement that the legendary protagonist character from the Tomb Raider video game series, Lara Croft, is going to make an appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as an additional playable Operator.
So, what shall we expect up next?!
Things in the CoD ‘verse are strange lately, talking in terms of new stuff. There’s the likelihood that we won’t get any newly licensed bundles in Call of Duty as a consequence of the controversy that surrounded earlier celebrities’ bundles, which ultimately led to their removal from the game. If this is the case, then it’s possible that we were wrong about our expectations. However, who knows what type of shocks and awe Activision has in store for us?!
Although we do not currently have any information on when it will ultimately make its way to the Call of Duty universe or what’s inside of the package that will be in the game, Lara Croft is likely to be a highly coveted Operator in the game. However, we do not have any information about when it will finally make its way to the COD ‘verse.
Since the release of Warzone, we have been able to form a number of relationships with a wide range of video game companies, renowned persons, and sportsmen, like Neymar Jr., Messi, and Kevin Durant, amongst others. Make sure you look out for the official announcement of the new collaboration, which can be seen below until we learn more about how players may obtain the Lara Croft Operator in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone:

Those crossovers have been well welcomed, and we are grateful for them since they have all slayed it to a significant degree. Others have been favorably welcomed, even enticing new players to the game, while others have created controversy due to their improbable relationship with Call of Duty and the nature of the game itself.
