BTS’s “Permission To Dance” nr 1 On Billboard Hot 100 Chart

The South Korean boy band has a new record, much to the delight of ARMYs. According to Billboard, the new single is now number 1, while their previous one, ‘Butter’ takes number seven. The new song in collaboration with Ed Sheeran was released a couple of days ago, and since then, it has been streamed worldwide: 15.9 million streams in the U.S only.

‘Permission To Dance’ is not the only song of the boy band to reach number one on the Billboard charts. Other songs on that were number one are ‘Butter’, ‘Dynamite’, ‘Savage Love’ BTS Remix and ‘Life Goes On’. The band is breaking record after record, and it just shows that their talent is recognised worldwide.

Join the ‘Permission to Dance’ Challenge

On Friday, YouTube and BTS will launch a new challenge involving their latest hit. Sources mention that ARMYs can send a 15 second YouTube video in which they replicate the dance moves from the song’s video. The challenge lasts until August 14, and those who participate have to use two hashtags: #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts, according to sources. The newest song was peformed by the band during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week. The band has more than 10 billion views on YouTube, and the challenge is a great way to celebrate their success.

The seven members boy band was formed by Big Hit Entertainment and debuted back in 2013, as it is mentioned. They co-write and co-produce their songs, and their first album was 2 Cool 4 Skool. BTS band is considered a national treasure in South Korea, and their songs have become instant hits. Their song ‘Dynamite’ brought them a Grammy Nomination.
