Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released in 2020. It is the twelfth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and is set in a fictionalized version of 9th-century Europe during the Viking invasion of England.

Players take on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in a conflict between the English kingdoms of Wessex, Mercia, East Anglia, and Northumbria. The game features a blend of historical and mythical elements, allowing players to interact with historical figures such as King Alfred the Great and also experience supernatural events such as hallucinations and visions.

The gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla revolves around exploration, combat, and role-playing elements. Players can engage in activities such as raiding, hunting, fishing, and crafting, as well as interact with non-playable characters and make choices that affect the game’s narrative.

The game received generally positive reviews for its graphics, open-world design, and storytelling, with some criticism directed toward its combat and technical issues. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has also received several updates and expansions since its release, adding new content and addressing various issues.
