Could the wait really be over? Well, anything it’s possible when it comes to how things are done by Apple, right?! But here’s the catch. According to fresh reports, the 15-inch MacBook Air could totally be launched at the WWDC event soon.

Many surprises, including the announcement of the much-awaited AR headset, could be made at Apple’s WWDC 2023 event, which is reportedly held on June 5. The 15-inch MacBook Air, which would be a significant revelation for all those who are looking to buy a larger, portable Mac, might, according to the most recent report, also be unveiled by the tech giant based in Cupertino. What do you think are the chances to finally see that happen?

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is the one who reported the recent update, explaining:

As part of watchOS 10, the company is planning to bring back widgets and make them a central part of the interface; […] at WWDC in June, alongside the unveiling of iOS 17, macOS 14, the 15-inch MacBook Air, and, of course, the much-anticipated mixed-reality headset.

As a matter of fact, Gurman didn’t relate anything in the past about the 15-inch MacBook Air’s chances to get launched during the WWDC 2023 event. So, this means we could actually see it happen, as Gurman’s reports are usually pretty reliable?!

Despite so many unanswered questions, the report went on further, saying that we shouldn’t anticipate any “One More Thing” moments from Apple. Of course, we also want to see at least a preview of the next-gen M3, but chances are slim, considering the SoC won’t likely be unveiled until the fourth quarter of 2023. The 15-inch MacBook Air will feature the M2 chipset instead. But then again, we can’t be sure yet.

What are your thoughts on the future WWDC 2023 event held by Apple?

Expect nothing earth-shattering in terms of tech, though we really hope that Apple will bring the much-awaited 15-inch MacBook Air and put an M3 SoC in it!
